Yesterday I spent a good chunk of time going through some old pictures and playing around a bit. These are some images that I might have skipped over in the past, but gave me new found interest with the passing of time.

These are from a trip to San Rafael Swell we took over Spring Break.

These were for a diversity assignment. The photographs were supposed to portray things from John's viewpoint. Not necessarily from his point of view, but more along the lines of what his life is like being Jamaican-American at a mostly white college.



These were taken towards the end of the semester. We were just goofing around with a couple of lights and a couple of soft boxes! Nothing too fancy, but definitely fun. At first I didn't like all of the footprints on the sweep in the couch image. But, post-processed like this, they really help to break up all of the black.

I think these are the only girls Winn has waiting for him. A couple of real dogs.

A lot of these are just random detail shots from the trip. The landscape shot was taken in Sam Houston National Forest (prettiest set of trees I've ever seen). The rooster was hanging around while we were eating Bar-B-Q. The reflection is of the hub cap of an old truck at the Blue Bell Ice Cream plant. The bark is from a tree in Talemina State Park, Oklahoma. And the orange leaf and wildflower are from the Antique Rose Emporium (or something like that) in Central Texas.

Here are some pictures from my trip to Texas/Arkansas last week. These were taken on our ride through the Ozarks. It's beautiful country down there.

These were taken on a flight back to Texas with my newest lens, a 17-40mm f/4.
